RWZ Motive. Driven by passion, purpose, and understanding.
I’ve always had a love for all things fast growing up. cars, bikes, jets you name it, if it made a loud noise and moved quick I’m all eyes. Entering young adulthood I wanted something fast for myself, but didn’t know where to start. Skipped over the slow ones and went straight to an old ZX6R and got moving. You can guess how that ended. That experience taught me an important lesson about life. You can’t rush your way through the fast lane all the time, otherwise you might pass up some important learning opportunities along the way. After the ZX6R was no more, I got me an old 1999 GMC Sierra. Did my first oil change and coolant flush and felt like a mechanic. Later down the line and a couple more bikes, I ended up taking a chance and trading a bike I loved and valued more than anything I’ve ever owned. It was a fully built Chris Moore tuned nitrous Hayabusa. I didn’t want to let it go, but doing so got me here. I traded my beloved Busa for a 2006 Yukon XL. It needed a lot of work, but had just the storage and reliability I needed for my plan, and all the repairs it needed was just the learning experience I needed as well. I started investing every check into harbor freight tools, milwaukee, and parts and got to work. My experience and countless struggles with this Yukon showed me the efforts it really takes to be a mechanic, and how little I actually know. It also showed my how much I love working on cars, and how it feels to overcome a difficult repair and make a broken thing good again. It made me put the pedal to the floor with my drive to learning. I took every opportunity I could find to finding knew knowledge and experience in repairing various cars. Now after all these experiences and obstacles I’ve overcame, it brought me to RWZ Motive.
